SOLD Antique Cherry Amber Bakelite Beads

Description

Fine string of graduated Cherry Amber Bakelite beads. They are knotted between each bead and have a 9ct gold trigger clasp.

The largest bead measures 28mm x 19mm, the smallest 13mm x 7mm and the total length is 480mm (19 inches) weighing 58grams. The beads are slightly transluscent with swirls.

These beads were popular during the Edwardian period c1910. They have become very sought after and expensive today.
