Antique Solid Silver MADEIRA Decanter Label

Description

Large solid silver Madeira decanter label by Robert Gainsford, hallmarked in Sheffield in 1824. Madeira is a fortified Portuguese wine and this label is decorated with vine leaves.

With good hallmarks, it measures 8.4cm at the widest point x 6cm approximately, excluding the chain.

In a very good condition and a beautiful item to hang on a wine decanter.
