Description
Late 19th century Art Nouveau glass inkwell on brass stand. This inkwell dates from around 1890 and sits on a horseshoe stand. The glass inkwell has a shamrock leaf to the front it. The inkwell lid is decorated on top with a flower that has heart-shaped petals and is fixed to the glass. The glass is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. There are 2 tiny holes on the stand due to years and years of polishing the metal but they are minor.
This inkwell represents the Art Nouveau period perfectly with the beautiful flowing design.
There are several gallery photos so do have a close look.
A wonderful desk accessory or for collectors of Art Nouveau/Arts and Crafts pieces.
