Description
Quirky Powder Compact by Foster, USA with individual figures of a moustached man playing a music box, a monkey holding something to his mouth, a pelican and a travel case set onto the cover.
The opening and closing mechanism is perfectly intact and the interior is in reasonably good condition.
I can’t be sure of the age but would guess it to have been made in the 1930’s or 1940’s. There is a minor dent to the cover and the back and some wear to the enamel figures which can be expected from an item in regular use.
It measures 7.7cm x 5.2cm. This is a fabulous and quirky little powder compact for a collector or lovers of vintage accessories.
